About the Artist
Kerry Holton designs unique jewelry using semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, austrian crystal, shell, enamel, sterling silver and gold. Her casually elegant pieces make a statement whether worn with a little black dress or a pair of faded blue jeans. Kerry's designs follow the latest fashion trends and she feels that if a piece looks good on you, you'll wear it with everything.
Kerry (Schaper) Holton grew up in Weston, CT, graduated from Weston High School and the University of South Carolina, where she studied Fashion Design. She worked for Ralph Lauren Womenswear in NYC as a production assistant and at Ann Taylor in Greenwich, CT, where she pursued her love of fashion.
Kerry has always been interested in jewelry and fashion and was exposed to the art of metalsmithing at an early age in her grandfather's Florida studio. She studied jewelry/metalsmithing in college along with fashion and continues to take classes in metalsmithing, enameling and beading at the Brookfield Craft Center, in Brookfield, CT. |
